Season 8 Realm Qualifiers

«Готовь сани летом» — видимо такому принципу решила наконец следовать компания Криптозоик и, вопреки обыкновению, предоставила широкой общественности всю информацию о следующем сезоне Реалм Квалифаеров уже сейчас. В данном случае, правда, это особенно уместно, т.к. сезон этот у нас будет чертовски длинным и начнется уже в ноябре. И без нового формата Contemporary тут не обойдется.

 

SEALED PACK: NOVEMBER 1ST — DECEMBER 31ST

Players will compete in a Swiss tournament. This will be best two-of-three game matches and sixty minute rounds. Players will use 6 booster packs of War of the Ancients for deck construction. After the Swiss rounds, the top players should play single elimination matches to determine the final winner of this event.
All Realm Qualifiers scheduled between November 1st and December 31st, 2012 will be Sealed Pack Format.

Top 8 — Series 5 Paladin Deckboxes (+ 1 given out as a door prize)

CORE: JANUARY 1ST — FEBRUARY 28TH

Players will compete in a Swiss tournament. This will be single-game matches and thirty minute rounds. After the Swiss rounds, the top players should play single elimination matches to determine the final winner of this event.
All Realm Qualifiers scheduled between January 1st and February 28th, 2013 will be Core Constructed Format.

CONTEMPORARY: MARCH 1ST — APRIL 28TH

Players will compete in a Swiss tournament. This will be single-game matches and thirty minute rounds. After the Swiss rounds, the top players should play single elimination matches to determine the final winner of this event.
All Realm Qualifiers scheduled between March 1st and April 28th, 2013 will be Contemporary Constructed Format.

QUALIFYING FOR THE REALM CHAMPIONSHIP

Players earn qualification points towards a Realm Championship invite based on their standings. Player may check their current season points by visiting their user profile page.

1st: 10 points
2nd: 10 points
3rd-4th: 6 points
5th-8th: 4 points
9th+: 3 points
Realm Championship events will be two day events, held globally on May 11th and 12th. Players who earn at least 10 Realm Points can attend any Realm Championship event. Players may only attend one Realm Championship event during Season 8.
